Technology improved drastically during world war 2, from planes, to guns, to bombs. One of the most important events in world war 2 was the bombing of hiroshima, which was the first time a country had ever dropped a nuclear bomb on another country. I know that nuclear warfare was conceived during world war 2, and throughout the war it was tested until the US produced the atom bomb and dropped it. Another new technology that came about during ww2 was the jet engine, which gave pilots the ability to outrun other planes used during the war. These forms of technology interested me because at the time, they were revolutionary things that were key in the US's victory of the war. Also, I am interested in how technology used in warfare then differs with the technology used now. Although I know very little about the technology, I am interested in learning about the different vehicles used, as well as the different weapons and new forms of communication
