1. The most successful element of these pictures are the messages they display. All 3 of the pictures show the repercussions of pollution, and how it affects our earth.

2. The message of the work is pretty wide. Its main message is to show the effects of pollution, and to show how severe pollution can get in certain areas.

3. The intended audience is anyone that is willing or able to help make a difference. I know this because the photographers intentions were to get the viewers to take in the images and try to make change.

4. Each photo shows pollution in different locations, and gives the viewer a look at pollution in different areas, and by doing so, the photographer brings a larger message of global pollution to the table.

5. In two of the pictures the photographer shows the pollution meeting the water, which slightly uses the rule of thirds, and in one of the photographs, the photographer zooms in and focuses on the center of the image.

6. I chose this sample because it looks like it was done by a professional, and all of the photos are edited well with good lighting. Also, I chose this sample because it is very similar to the type of pictures I want to take of Tourmaline.
